I always make drawings, plans, models or patterns and pictures of just about everything I'm building: Imperative! That block of wood on the drawing is the back side of the door stile model previously spoken of showing a 1/2" wide mortise pocket, part of that strengthening construction; normally the tenon would be 5/16" thick. >
