Connecticut River Valley Double Arched Panel Doors and entryway 2016

Doors and entryway of the first Lt. Governor of Vermont, Peter Olcott's home in Norwich, Vt. built in 1789. These are replicated from one extant door that was thankfully saved. When I removed the replacement Civil War doorway all the original sheathing was in place, but half of the sill needed replacing, and there was no evidence that there were 'lights' (window panes) above the doors. This is possibly the most northern example of a Connecticut River Valley Doorway above White River Junction, Vt. >
