The finished end

The great majority of raised panel fields (the top) have a shoulder that is slightly beveled. It goes un-noticed until you see one that is not, then its glaring. There is no sanding and never was on raised paneling,(except for arches and curved mouldings), including mouldings that are made from a plane, even pilasters with fluting or reeding and relief carving and rosettes and much more inside or outside of the house or buildings! No need, the finish off that blade is as good as it gets, sanding would only scuff it up! >
