The horizontal drawer dividers on the original were just nailed right through the carving of the sides ! As for the interior dividers I was not able to inspect that detail. On the two I made I cut in dattos for every divider, that stopped a half inch from the front and the appropriate depth for the top. These dimensions must obviously be precise, "Dead Nuts" as the expression goes. Expand for detail.
