The Shell is the same as hers but I shaped and carved the shelf edges an ogee shape as is the Rose House cupboard, and used the stop flutted interior pilasters from the Yale Cupboard as well, and also added four rosettes in relief in the face board above the Shell and two at the top of the interior pilasters for a total of ten. The interior colors are milk paint except for gold of the small fan carving.The glass is old and wavy as it should be. All of the mouldings are made with period planes including the Crown mouldings. It is quite the effort to push the last few passes to finish a 3" wide ribbon coming off from the crown plane, that is why there is a hole thru the front of the plane with a wooden pin driven across to tie a rope so another man can pull as the plane holder pushes down. Think of the millions of feet of Crown moulding inside an outside of all the Period houses in the colonies and beyond that were made with great effort - staggering !!!!
